Enter the world of Magnoral. The land has known relative peace for centuries under the rule of the Council of Gods. Yet, all is not well when a jealous god sets his treacherous spawn loose to reshape Magnoral in his image. His twin children, Beltzalel and Vercin Getorix, have other ideas. Being trained by foster parents, one in the arts of magick and the other in armed combat, the twins set out to train under other masters to increase their power. Torger is a simple ferrier and young huntsman living in a village that's worst problems are bad weather and wild animals. All that changes though when Torger goes out for his first real hunt, separates from the group, and returns home to find his friends and village decimated.
