The Song of Igor's Campaign — Anonymous

In 1792 a manuscript was discovered in Moscow which contained a hitherto-unknown epic poem in archaic Russian narrating the events of a military campaign of the 12th-century Russian Prince Igor. Published anonymously in 1795, debate has raged over the work's authorship and authenticity ever since.
