It takes a certain mentality to be a criminal.
Welcome to the `Costa del crime´,in southern Spain, the leading market-place of world's illegal drug trade, where million dollar deals are made over a morning coffee. It is here that two broke criminals arrive,hopeful of brokering a cannabis deal,to put them back in the black.To do so they must network with the disparate mix of shady international types that operate with impunity along the sunshine coast.From fraudsters to smugglers,they share a common desire that unites them;to get rich by any means necessary.
Despite some initial ill-fated and darkly humorous set-backs,they begin to achieve success in the criminal underworld.They quickly discover,as their reputations and bank-balance increases,so too do the problems,as does the interest of several international law-enforcement agencies.Also,they struggle to avoid being sucked into the hedonistic sex,drugs and fiesta life-style,prevalent in the seedy under-belly of the Costa night-life.Adding to an already volatile mix,is Carmen,a sultry señorita with a dark side.When a bizarre love triangle forms,it tests the boundaries of friendship and sanity.
As their drug-fuelled paranoia threatens to engulf them,they are presented with an opportunity to make their dreams a reality.This involves liaising between the upper-echelon of the drug trade from two different continents.Under the duress of constant police surveillance they endeavour to appease and impress some of the worlds most ruthless drug-barons.The tension mounts unbearably as they walk a tight-rope between riches beyond their wildest dreams, and a long prison sentence...or worse.
