When successful gold-hunter Charles Lawson decides to settle down in Shallow Gorge, Colorado, he ends up getting more than he bargained for. As Kate tries to decide between staying in Shallow Gorge or going back home, Charles does his best to measure up - and finds himself falling in love in the process.
