THEN: at Joseph's first kill scene, the resonance discovers the vibration of a curious bystander: thirteen-year-old Molly Harmon. Sensing that Molly possesses both the ability to synch with its dark energy and serve as a vessel for cast-off electrical waste, the resonance appears to Molly in the shape of a piece of ribbon candy. Intrigued, Molly naively synchs with the entity and discovers the price of her decision: accelerated aging, and ultimately, she fears -- early death.
NOW: Molly is a bent and shuffling woman whose appearance belies the fact that she is twenty-eight years old. Molly can only watch helplessly as her nightmare grows more powerful and Joseph younger with each slice of his knife blade.
