Zany started out like any child, but then became withdrawn into his tablet. Zany could not determine reality from his reality. Zany used his tablet as his reality distortion to figure out what people were monsters (Friendly) or not. One day Zany had a bad day and found himself in the wild with only his tablet to connect him with family and people who were friendly. Zany met an unlikely friend who helped Zany out of his Reality Distortion using only his talents and wits. The book does not come all together until the end. The next book is when Zany makes friends and forms a Motley Crue of sorts to solve the mysteries of abductions, and attacks on people in his community.
