The Other Side of the River — Mary Mackie

Deserted by her husband, Leonie devotes her life to their young son, Tim, until he is snatched and spirited away by his father. After five months of despair, Leonie is visited by Pieter Helsingen, a German businessman, who tells her that her ex-husband and the boy are in the Black Forest. Impulsively, she sets out to reclaim her son, little dreaming they will both become involved in deadly danger.
