Pablo Ortiz was a cheerful, hardworking remudero - until the day his Patron's daughter falsely accused him of molesting her. Hounded, whipped and left for dead by her irate father, the young Mexican, with the help of Pedro Gomez, leaves Mexico vowing one day to return and clear his name. But there were dangers to be faced, and Pablo suffered a baptism of fire. Always, though, his grim determination pulled him through until he could exact a deadly revenge.
