Katie Sullivan, a journalist, goes to Honduras to visit her friend Gina who is working for a charity clinic. On arrival she discovers the doctor in charge is Lee Donovan, the man who jilted her two years ago. She leaves Honduras and goes to Guatemala, only to find that Lee has followed her.
