The Little Market Woman — McLoughlin Brothers

This odd little story in song, which includes the musical score as well as the words written in verse, tells of a woman who travels to market, falls asleep by the side of the road, has her skirts cut short by a stranger, and returns home only to be unrecognized by her own dog! The illustrated story was originally published circa 1875 by McLoughlin Brothers of New York.
