Greg Henderson's powerful arms grasped Kate Lawrence's as he went on, "A woman has to be a warm, living homemaker...and you're not that, are you, Kate?"

She tried to break away. "I never said I was." How could she deal with this sun-bronzed giant whose curly-lashed eyes and joking manner disguised a hard and vengeful character?

"No, you didn't," he snapped, apparently enjoying her struggles. "So what does that make you, hmm? the other sort, the provocative, persuasive type of woman?"

"I think you better leave, "Kate stated, fear running an icy finger down her back.

But Greg's only response was to pull her closer and murmur, "I think not, my little temptress..."
