Reluctantly embroiled in what seems to be a routine burglary, Detective Chief Inspector John Blizzard is intrigued when he is confronted by a name from the past. However, intrigue is rapidly replaced by consternation when burglary turns to murder, and Blizzard faces a race against time to prevent the killer from striking again.
