The Keepers of the Zoo — James Carter

During the apocalypse, a rampant virus spread throughout the population changing humans into vicious mutants. A small religious sect, following the word of the Bible, escaped to the safety of the Kingdom of God, a walled sanctuary for righteous humans. The Righteous lived peacefully in their earthly heaven for almost four hundred years, aided by loyal farmers and servants. But when one servant, a zookeeper, strives to end the rule of the Righteous, his quest brings him to within an inch of his life.
