In this volume of the K-Street Collection entitled Monologues of Life on the Street, I wish to be a voice for the multitude of poor people in the USA and around the world who are forced to live on the street because of their socio-economic conditions. I did not find it hard at all to relate to their problems since, despite my education, I am poor myself. This book is inspired from truth. Its emotion and words are those of the people that I meet here and there over the course of time. I write for them to help the world understand their problems and find a way to improve their lives. This first volume of the K-Street Collection presents: •The case of a father who lost his son due to violence in the ghetto •The case of a poor and homeless man dreaming of hope •The despair of two orphans and street children •The repentance of an alcohol addict •The repentance of a ghetto boy from a life of gangsters •The role of a woman as a peacemaker in her violent neighborhood.
