Jewels are Sarah Brent's livelihood, and her rich employer's passion. All over the world at fabulous gem auctions, she has bid for sapphires and lapis lazuli, emeralds and diamonds. Now in Hong Kong at her employer's house, the mysterious Pavilion of the Apricots, she buys an ancient white jade belt.
