Jarred grew up in the arid desert; a breathtaking place filled with a proud and fierce race of people ho feel the power of the land surge beneath their feet and live in tune with its magic. Raised by his mother alone, Jarred longed to know the history of his father, a journeyman who strayed into the land and found love with a flower of the desert but who left many years ago, promising to return for his wife and infant son.
