When tragedy strikes in the country of Brexio, Arawn Segomo is accused of a crime he didn't commit and must await his trial while one of his closest companions remains to be found. Some guidance from a local priestess and friend leads Arawn to join Brexio's fighting pits in hopes that he can win his freedom back by defeating the current champion. But not everything is as it seems. Mystery, treachery, and death linger at every turn.
