Every self-respecting town (or least every self-respecting southern town) must have at least one haunted house. It all depends on the town's history and its related local lore. And such is the case in Dixie City, the fictional name we'll give to that bucolic little place where Frank and Annie have retired to get away from their previous hectic lifestyle. But it seems they've traded their hectic lifestyle for what has become a series of strange events that have come to define Dixie City for them. Not long after arriving in Dixie City they encounter --- in the spirit (so to speak) of volunteerism --- a bit of Dixie City history in the form of the Hangin' Judge's Houseā¦.. And therein lies yet another Dixie City tale.
