The Grangerfjord Monks — Ruth McCarthy Sears

Lost in a heavy mountain storm, Karma was forced to take refuge in remote Grangerfjord. Legend had it that no one who entered the place ever returned; it was also said that the statues on the tower were the corpses of those who had died there, encased in molten gold. Now it was inhabited by strange monks of different nationalities, who told Karma she would be forcibly detained until the Father Provincial arrived from Italy.
