Who is she, where did she come from, and how did she end up dead on the shore of a mountain lake?
Billy Ray Blanco, a small town sheriff with higher aspirations, must find the answers to these questions when he has no experience with murder or anything close to it. And yet if his political dreams are to be realized, he must solve the crime that will have a ripple effect on a whole lot of locals.
