Beautiful Beth Morgan came to cold and remote Tiffany Towers as companion to the owner's wife, the startling attractive Tiffany Scarbough. Even more remarkable is the resemblance between Beth and Tiffany -- a resemblance both sinister and flattering.
Soon the dark winding corridors seem filled with spirits from beyond who terrorize Beth with their evil designs. Dark, attractive Quincy Duncan, a neighbor, tells her that she must escape. While exploring the remote and circling staircase which descended deeper and deeper into the very heart of the castle-fortress, Beth discovered a laboratory. Here she saw the experimental equipment that she had long feared might be present.
Hurrying away, she reached the staircase only to find total darkness and the very real presence of another being. Beth felt numb and her body was ice-cold. Something or someone was beckoning to her, pleading with her to stay and never depart. She could feel it as if the words were spoken and she was terror-stricken, surrounded by an icy sort of fog from which there seemed no escape.
