Fantasy/SciFi at its finest? Well. not exactly. This is Fantasy/SciFi at its most hilarious, snarky, smarmy, rollicking, smart-ass wildest. Meet the crew of the short-jump Space Trader cargo ship Moon Maid and her ... um ... diverse? imaginative? ... all-female crew, Captain Flo, first mate Rosie, engineer Donna (think an empathic Scotty with boobs, a scar, and an attitude), and Flo's unofficially adopted daughter and all-around dogsbody, Martha (please don't tell Martha we called her a dogsbody, okay? She's a Kit-Teh, kind of a catlike humanoid with fabulous furry ear tuffs). Join them as they struggle to emancipate Pete, the beautiful young Girl in the Golden Chair, the blue-skinned, plant-based ingenue/slave of King Horrible (he pronounces it Oh-ree-blay and gets testy if you say it the other way) on a journey from the Outer Rim to the rich, snobby Inner Planets. Along the way are more twists and turns than a red licorice stick and some of the strangest creatures this side of the three moons of the planet Mondo.
