The First Blood Gang — W.L. Cox

Hunt continues to travel to different offices that appear to require some assistance. A man confronts Hunt in the saloon. Hunt doesn't recognize him until Hunt hears his name. Hunt travels to Arizona to check on Ben Collins and his crew. While traveling this far west, Hunt decides to take the train to San Francisco and throws two cowboys off the moving train for trying to steal his rifle and saddlebags. Hunt needs to open a new office in the mid-west and is desperately searching for a deputy with the proper qualifications to promote to U.S Marshal. Hunt finds the perfect man and travels with him and his crew to follow the First Blood Gang after the train is attacked. Hunt spends a day in Denver and becomes depressed when he realizes what he gave up for the job in Chicago and begins wondering if he should step down and move back to Denver.
