The Deadly Dog Watch — Peter Tranter

It starts with a phone call from Tangier. Days later the shipping line owner disappears. Local pressure is exerted and Oliver Castle finds himself all at sea charged with finding out what has happened. Despite the appalling weather someone is trying to sabotage the ship; one of the five dancing girls on board disappears, and then the murders begin.
