The Dead Man's View — Amy Corwin

When lonely spinster, Pru Barnard, discovers she's not alone but has a family in the form of a distant cousin, she's thrilled, particularly when he invites her to visit him. Although initially excited, Pru is soon caught in a maelstrom of seething tensions. Emotions erupt when her cousin is found hanged, his body dangling outside his bedroom window. The authorities immediately call his death a suicide, despite the fact that her cousin was afraid of heights and would never tie a noose around his neck and fling himself out of a window.
