The Day the Canal Burst — Chris Brown

My book is about five little Irish men called the Navvydids, they have worked on the canal for over two hundred years, repairing and keeping it safe to assist them they have Barney the boat horse who pulls their work boat from job to job, Barney has another use, his poo, this is gathered and put into the septic simulator, this produces gas to heat their cabin. The Navvydid's work hard to keep the canal safe but it is made more difficult by a group of Yorkshire men called the Bygumbies, they spend there time annoying the Navvydid's and trying to pinch their gold
