When her mother's health begins to fail, Coriander sees the prince's unorthodox method of selecting a bride as an answer to her prayers, and sets about trying to achieve a better life for herself and her mother the best way she knows how. But with dozens of other girls seeking to exchanged their rags for riches as well, how will Coriander fair in the cutthroat competition to win the prince's heart?
