NIGHT OWL REVIEWS TOP PICK! This story is one of the few novels I have ever read that made me laugh out loud, sigh for the dilemmas facing the characters, and overall, made me smile in true happiness. It tells the story of Kat, a thoroughly modern woman with a baking habit, and the joys of life for a single woman in LA looking for success and love in that fierce urban jungle. The story follows Kat through her nearly suffocating job in a highly dysfunctional company, and the joys and heartache of her highly dysfunctional love life and family life. Kat must learn to trust her mind and heart, and that nearly every wannabe Prince Charming often comes with extremely tarnished armor and more baggage than his trusty steed could ever handle. If you couldn't tell, I absolutely loved this novel. It brought me back to a time that the majority of women can identify with; that is, the search for love while trying to be successful in a job and still find time to enjoy the joys of life. The characters are extremely witty and charming, and the story is expertly crafted. This is a novel that women everywhere will love and pass among girlfriends. - Hitherandthee
