Annie-Loo tells Santa that he does not need to bring her a present this year because she has emptied her piggy bank and plans to buy her own present, a goat.
While attending an auction with her dad, she spots the perfect one. Since her dad is busy on the phone, she bids on it on her own. She keeps raising her hand until the auctioneer calls out, “Sold, to the little girl with the freckles nose.”
Hearing what the auctioneer just said, Dad puts down his phone and asks, “Annie-Loo, what did you just do?”
Smiling, she replies, “Well, Dad, I just brought my own Christmas present.”
With owning a goat comes the responsibility of taking care of it, which includes keeping Elfie the goat and herself out of trouble. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, things go wrong.
