When Pip sneaks out of his cave to find out what winter is like, he comes upon a friendly tree named Evergreen. To the bear cub1s delight, Evergreen knows all about winter and, even better, she knows all about the wonderous holiday called Christmas. After Evergreen gives Pip a Christmas gift, he decides to bring her a colorful rainbow captured in a piece of ice. But on his way to deliver his gift, the rainbow breaks! Pip is heartbroken, until he realizes the pieces are still beautiful and can decorate Evergreen1s branches - she1s the first Christmas tree!
