However, when he returns to the Camino, he has lost Lucía and walks many miles by himself.After he is attacked by a ferocious dog and valiantly fights back, Lucía rescues him. Although he is proud he has learned to be independent, Don Pedro Pepito realizes that being with Lucía is much better than being alone.Their journey ends at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, where they meet up with Lucía's family.Her mother and brother fall in love with the little cat and invite him to join their family.
