The Capsule — Elaine Waldron

Two humanoids, one male and one female, prepare for landing, as they have traveled many light-years at an accelerated time-warp, which allowed them to span galaxies in months instead of hundreds and hundreds of years. Still, they have trekked far from their star-system, from one side of the universe to the other, hoping their voyage will not be in vain.

Slowly, the ship descends to the planet's surface, coming to rest in a deep valley. The star-travelers slip into their pressurized suits, lower the hatch and step carefully down onto the eerie, enchanting world, standing for a moment in respectful awe of the planet's breathtaking beauty. Will they find what they have come for?
