The Burden — Nancy Rue

Everyone thinks Thomas has grown up a lot since he moved to Williamsburg -- so much so, that they start trusting him with secrets he isn't sure he can, or should, keep. As the atmosphere of fear around the town grows, strangers start showing up, and others Thomas and his friends thought they knew start to turn to strangers themselves, the choice between keeping secrets and sharing burdens becomes harder and harder for everyone.
