The Big Potato Field — Barbara Bailey Caspersen; Marilyn Williams

The Big Potato Field is the 4th book in the series - Peggy and Barbie on the Farm - and tells of two little girls clearly intent on helping their Mummy and Daddy in the potato field. They work very hard tasting each potato before putting it in the basket and getting very dirty in the process. Although Mummy must cook the bitten potatoes immediately, still it brings a smile to her face as she realizes they were only trying to help. Sisters Marilyn Bailey-Williams and Barbara Bailey-Caspersen were born in Princeton, Maine. They both have a great love for the ocean and for Maine, which will always feel like home to them. Their love of writing is a gift from their mother, Anna, who was to sadly leave this earth with the dream of becoming a published author unfulfilled. Marilyn now resides in Crystal River, Florida and Barbara in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
