Brady is quickly rising up my list (which is very long) of favorite authors. I have read all her published works and they just seem to get better. I read this book non-stop and said a curse word or two when I finished so fast.This author is able to spin a tale and pull in historical information so that, while impossible and improbable, are never the less believable.So far I have absolutely LOVED everything R D Brady has written from The Belial Series to The A.L.I.V.E. Series to the novella's and the anthology and more!!! Here's the thing . . . she's just a fantastic writer that knows how to properly develop both a story line and the characters as well as a plot that keeps you vested in the journey, engulfed in the story and doesn't let you get bogged down. You ALWAYS want more! There's everything I love in a great novel. There's a touch of historical information, a great plot, a cup of the supernatural, significant info to explain that supernatural, a bit of romance, lots of action and incredible characters that you can't help but love (or dislike as the case may be)! If you like any of those characteristics, you will probably love this series!
