The Battle — Gary Naiman

With the world at the brink of war, four tormented strangers flee to a Far Eastern mountain where a plane has crashed carrying a precious cargo. Driven by their demons, they climb toward the treasure, unaware that two flights of Japanese marines are closing from the east with orders to retrieve the cargo at all costs, for it will determine the victor of a war not yet started. Author's note: "The Battle" is the sequel to Book One "The Warriors". While a story in itself, it is suggested that Book One be read first for maximum effect. Gary Naiman has written twelve novels. His background includes twenty years at Paramount Pictures and classified projects within the chemical and weapons industries. One of his books is being considered for a motion picture.
