Brady was in Antwerp on a small assignment when he ran across the girl he had known as Paula. It was a surprise, since she should have been going through her act at that scruffy little theatre in Gdansk. So what was she doing in Antwerp, and why, when he spoke to her, did she pretend not to know him? And then, when he got back to London and was paid a surprisingly large fee for what had been a very simple job of work, he began to wonder whether there was not something in the wind.
