“What a rush!” Anita Davenport exclaimed, as the team and I ran off of the stage. “I have never felt an adrenaline rush like that in my entire life!” If I weren't so out of breath, I would have verbally agreed with her. As soon as the music had started, my teammates and myself had become filled with adrenaline. Pushing our bodies to the max, all of us had given an exhilarating performance! In fact, the audience and judges had stood, cheered, and clapped for us at the end of our routine! As the captain of the Aviators, I had taken this kind gesture as affirmation. It had also confirmed that I was wrong for thinking, at times, that I was a bad captain. In this case, I was happy and glad that I had been!
