From the very first day of school, Blythe had had this weird compulsion to walk out of class. Throughout her school years the impulse persisted. When parents, friends and counselors couldn't help her, she was sent to a school for "problem" children. But this didn't seem to work, either. One day in class something told her it was time to go again. Soon she found herself in front of a house she recognized but had never actually seen. Out of it stepped a strange boy who began to haunt her dreams. Was it all coincidence? Or was it part of a plan she could only vaguely guess?
