SUZI NOIR is the first book in West of Madison's Quick Read book series. The Quick Read book series was designed to promote the stimulating, exciting, sometimes oddly piquant but always evocative, very short fiction of new and emerging writers. Limited to a length no greater than approximately 3500 words, these short literary works are brief tomes of examination, experimentation, exposition, expression, and revelation. As such we hope to encourage a new generation of readers, thinkers, and risk takers who may, themselves, be inspired to one day set pen to paper, seeking to figure out the whys and wherefores of humanity, life, and the world of infinite experience into which we have all been born.
