When her fifteen-year-old sister Susannah is kidnapped, Andrea Collins is determined to track down the kidnappers, and enlists the help of Jim Faraday, a trucking executive who is also on the criminals' trail.

One day Andrea Collins and her 15-year-old sister Susannah are living happily with their mother and grandfather, - and the next Susannah is kidnapped. The kidnappers are cunning enough to make it look like no crime has been committed, but they hadn't counted on Anna's tenacious and resourceful spirit. Teamed up with Jim Faraday who's also on the criminals' trail, they find Susannah, only to discover that their nightmare has just begun!
