Surgeon on Skora — Lynne Collins

When Judith Henry arrives on the Hebridean isle of Skora to work as theatre nurse at the Jefferson Clinic, her antagonism is aroused by surgeon Brad Hamilton who warns her harshly that he is 'demanding, bloody-minded and a devil to work with.' Judith is tempted to tell the arrogant surgeon to go to hell -- yet despite their differences they do seem to make a splendid surgical team. What does it matter that outside the operating theatre they simply can't get on?
