Seemingly unrelated murders, a forming terrorist cell group in Belgium, and Americans living in Brussels, are at the intersection where intrigue, deception and murder collide. Aretha is the unwitting protagonist when she takes a short term job at a Belgian software company. Asked by one of the wives to participate in the Summer Sunday Tours â€"a series of weekend packages for ex-patriots- to see unique parts of Europe, she looks forward to the adventures. Aretha falls for a colleague Malcolm, on the weekend the bus driver of the Tour is killed adding to her excitement, with London and Brussels police on the trail of murder suspects. The cell group of Middle Eastern men are involved somehow, but it is not clear how. Was the first murder revenge or a signal to another group about turf or the first terrorist act against the Americans?
