The Creusa was a dream of a ship, and young tour guide Ellen Grant could see that a cruise in the Caribbean would be romantic and adventurous -- especially since Colin MacGregor, the ship's doctor, showed plainly his interest in her.
Trouble began in Bermuda -- where Louise Clark fainted while skin diving, and the handsome cruise director, Gregory Thorsen, revealed himself to be a fortune-hunter, after Louise for her money.
And in Haiti, Louise turned into a real troublemaker when she decided to see a real voodoo ceremony -- and Dirk Weyland, and admirer, refused to take her.
As the gleaming white ship made the various ports -- Bermuda, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Island, Jamaica and Haiti -- Ellen realized that being a tour guide wasn't going to be easy.
