In Steampunk Machinations, the world as we knew it never existed. The western United States fractured off in the late 1800s. They call themselves simply, The West, and a man under the title of High Overseer has risen up to cleanse the lands of the discontent. Nothing will stop him in achieving his new order, except maybe a few special individuals that have the power to send him away and free the people from his iron grip.
It won't be easy, however, because the High Overseer has incredible new machines to aid him in his quest for dominance. As powerful as these machines are, they pale in comparison to the plotting of the High Overseen, who will stop at nothing until the whole continent belongs to him. Will it be the outlaw that does him in? Will it be the native tribesman that finishes the job? Or will it be one of the many other classes that have the determination to deal with this threat? The only thing of certainty is that there's going to be a showdown in the Wild West.
In Steampunk Machinations: International Intrigue, the High Overseer has been dealt a massive blow, but he's not out of the fight just yet. He's sent his mysterious assassin, watchdog, into the fray and he's going to make sure that he takes down anyone that gets in his path. But he's not the only newcomer to the Wild West. This expansion contains an updated manual for hosting games larger than before. It also has 2 brand-new archetypes.
