Josie had lost so much. Almost more than she could bear. Little Rose, her niece, brightened her days but the child's presence in her life also marked some of the loss. She knew they needed a fresh start. But what about her father? The shell of a man who almost never spent any time with them because he was always working would be alone if she left him behind.
