Stars for the Toff — John Creasey

The Honourable Richard Rollison (aka ‘The Toff') finds that his aunt has invested a large sum of money in a fortune-teller named ‘Madame Melinska'. It is clearly a racket, and whilst his aunt could sustain the monetary loss, ‘The Toff' believes it is a bit too close to home and sets off to investigate. Upon doing so, little does he realise the danger involved, and that there is much more at stake â€" including murder!
