Jim, a newly separated accountant, and Monica, a makeup artist who's still trying to live in the past, rent the same rickety panhandle vacation beach house in Carrabelle, Florida during spring break. A snafu from Panhandle Vacation Rentals has them both booked for the same week, and neither of them are willing to give in and leave.Determined to make the most of his time away, Jim retreats to the pool house and gives Monica the whole main house to herself. The vacation rental manager is unreachable, so they form a truce and share the kitchen and the pool, promising to stay out of each other's way. However, after a sudden spring squall rolls in and cuts the power to the pool house, Jim and Monica have to learn to deal with their differences as they find themselves and each other.
