Monica Hales is miserable. She's the tallest of the twelve-year-old gymnast, and it doesn't look as if her growth spurt will ever end. Moves that used to be easy now take a lot of concentration. When Monica finds a stray kitten, she's relieved -- taking care of animals is something she's good at. She even volunteers to work in the veterinarian's office. But working isn't helping her gymnastics. Now Monica is late to practice -- when she shows up. Is it time to say goodbye to gymnastics?
