When jet-setting playboy Jonathan Rudder's fiancee, Angela Moresby, is hacked to death in what appears to have been a sexual frenzy, Jonathan is himself the principal suspect - his maniacal moods are well known. This death is part of a pattern of horrible crimes and the police are determined to pin the whole series of gruesome murders on Jonathan.
